Welcome to the new FreeRCT website!
This site is still under development and missing quite some features. If you spot bugs on the page, please report them! If you have any feedback or questions about the website please feel free to post them in the forum 🙂️
There was a problem with the account activation process. I fixed the problem for new registrations and activated all pending user accounts manually.
Hey, I just noticed the FreeRCT "New Post" email didn't pass my spam filters. I'm using Rspamd, and it's rather strict, but I still wanted to let you know.
VIOLATED_DIRECT_SPF: Has no Received (or no trusted received relays) and SPF policy fails or soft fails
R_BAD_CTE_7BIT: Detects bad content-transfer-encoding for text parts
MISSING_TO: To header is missing.
This are the symbols with the most bad magnitute, the first two score 3.5 each, the last scores 2.
Thanks for reporting. The last one was easily fixed, for the second one I added a tweak but don't know if it fixed it. No idea yet how to solve the first one, this is the first time I configured a mailing service
E-mails from freerct.net are currently not accepted by GMail accounts. I'm guessing this is related to the same problem reported here and I'm still trying to fix it.
I added some new features to the signup back-end to make it less annoying and confusing when the e-mail is not received at once, but until this is fixed, affected users who wish to register (or reset their password) please send me an e-mail and I'll update the account details manually.
I think I got e-mail working reliably now with proper SPF and DKIM policies. At least when sending direct test mail to my GMail testing account it is accepted without a spam warning
If mail from freerct.net is still not accepted as trustworthy for someone, please do let me know 🙂️
If I can read this then GMail is happy 😉️
Wow. The website looks positively weird in Google Chrome. I designed it with and for Firefox
With JS (partially) blocked, the header logo fills the screen, obscuring the entire page.
Hi Modanung and welcome to the forum 🙂️
Much better, no worries. 🙂️
The responsiveness of the header remains somewhat of a disaster, getting quite mangled below ~960px. Maximized it's fine, but that JS should really be replaced with CSS at some point.
