For me, theme park management started with Bullfrog Production's Theme Park. There's much overlap with Rollercoaster Tycoon, but both games had their own unique charms. I think the perfect theme park manager would be somewhere in between Theme Park and Rollercoaster Tycoon, instead of a clone of one of the two.
